Dump all on Sunday(s)
Okay, for those who are not living in Japan, you will need an explanation of what was happening here.
I don’t know if it is the same case in your country (definitely not in Indonesia), but Japan encourage people to sort their house waste. This is due to several reasons, mainly for recycle and power generation through incineration plant.
So, to do that, people have to sort their waste — not one, not two, but five categories (in some town, the list can go to eight categories) — and dispose them according to the schedule (from Tuesday to Saturday). However, on Sunday, we can come to the station (10AM-2PM) and dispose our waste at the designated boxes — as shown in the photo above.

Bagus, warganya dibiasakan bersih. :)
Kesadaran warga juga sih. Indonesia juga bisa. Coba deh ke Gundih, Surabaya :-)
Nice shot, fella :o)
Thanks, Mike
*although, honestly, I can’t understand why you would consider this “nice shot”. There’s nothing special there :P…
We also have 5 categories here for the trash. :)
Ah, I see. Thanks for the information, Helder. Do you also have to throw it out on different day?
