Capturing the mundane to create interesting stories

A visitor “surrounded” by abundant products at the Chinatown market

Side story:

Most of the time, I tried to emphasize the fun side of my photos. As the tagline of this blog, capturing the mundane to create interesting stories, I made-up most of the stories in the caption, to make it fun, rather than stating facts.

Of course, facts are relatives. Who knows what fact is. Perhaps facts is a strong word.

What I meant is to provide caption that explain the situation without too much exaggeration. After all, that’s what documentary is all about, no?  And that is the spirit I want to put out more now.

So, I’m going to do an experiment. I want to try to put more emphasize on documentary rather than the fun in the caption… and let’s see how it goes.

If you are a regular visitor in this blog, please do comment what you think. Thanks!
