Street of Brunei #02: Traditional Market

Went to the local market: Tamu Kianggeh

I passed the place when we arrived on Wednesday afternoon. It was quiet.

Probably because it was in the afternoon. Probably because it was on week day.

I went there again on Friday morning (start of weekend in Brunei), and the place was lively.

People came here by car, or bus (there’s a bus station nearby), or water taxi (will tell you more on next post).

Everybody went home walking like an Egyptian… sort of…  :-)

One good impression about the market: like the rest of Bandar Seri Begawan, it is clean.

Great job.
