Yellow #09: Jaywalking

S-Yellow-R0001056-martosc

When you do something wrong… do it fast!

Traffic and pedestrian are regulated.

Here in Singapore, the regulation is set and enforced… when you have right of way, you have right of way. Jaywalking introduces disturbance in the system.

In Indonesia, drivers don’t trust the system or other road users. They prepared to anticipate anything. Jaywalkers have a very good chance to survive crossing the busiest road. Ironically, if a car hit jaywalker, most probably the driver will be at fault.
