Capturing the mundane to create interesting stories

“Is there anyone home?”

Side story:

Lately, I haven’t got the time to actually roam the streets and take photos.

Worse, somehow I feel a little uninspired lately.

Perhaps a new gear could spice things up again? Hahaha…

No, it shouldn’t be that way.

Come on, Gm. You can kick yourself up!

  1. Hallo GM, the one that left two comment on my blog, btw thanks for the comment.
in your short bio, it said that you are an indonesian? ga nyangka…masih bisa berbahasa indonesia kah? :))
Hmm…btw, i already look over your blog and i love all your photos, what camera do you use? and was it all being taken in singapore?

i’m currently live in Bandung and i just use an analog camera(belum mampu beli DSLR,hehe… )

    • Yes, I am Indonesian… and yes, Bahasa Indonesia is still my first language.

I use several different cameras, you can see which in the category or tag of each post. Lately I’ve been using Ricoh GRD 3 (compact) almost exclusively. I moved to SG about 9 months ago, but the photos in this blog were taken since I was in Tokyo. Some are also from Bandung, actually.

Shooting analog is great, but also expensive, no? Definitely more expensive than a compact after all the other costs :-)

Nice to know you too, Adynura. Cheers.

  2. Sometimes the only way to beat a block is to force yourself to work. Or, to try to recreate a great photo you like.

    • Forcing to work is a good idea. I’ll have to make the time for it though.

Recreate my personal favourite work will be a bit difficult because most of them are candid.

      Nonetheless, thanks for the ideas!
