Capturing the mundane to create interesting stories

Little India: Tekka Centre (B/W)

It’s a colorful market, but today I give you in B&W

This time I visit Tekka Centre. I passed by this market many times before, but this is the first time I actually take the time to explore the place.

It’s quite interesting concept: hawker centre (food center/eating place), wet market and shops in one location.

I arrived there quite early on Sunday morning, though… so the shops are still closed.

Don’t forget to pray, wishing for good and prosperous business today

The views from second floor are also interesting.

Although the photos are in B/W, I have to emphasize that it’s actually a colorful place.

I decided to use B/W because I want to play with light and shadows here.

Perhaps some day I’ll come back again to shoot with color in mind.

Hope you still enjoy it for now.

Until then… :-)
