Capturing the mundane to create interesting stories

Galang Refugee Camp Museum

Hello… is there a guide in the house?

Went to Pulau Galang (Galang Island) to see the Galang Refugee Camp. Made a stop at the museum, and this is just a quick tour around the museum.

To be honest, the place is not very informative. Most of the displays are photos — mostly without context, without caption.

Not the best place to learn the history of this camp.

There are some interesting artifacts, though…

An ‘accurate’ world map :-)…

  1. Nice capture GM. Never heard of this island before. I love the map. Very colorful and the plane looks very life-size :).

    • I found the place not so interesting, but the history is very interesting. If you like history, you might want to read the articles.
