Welcome to Barombong, a fishermen’s village just outskirt of Makassar

Makassar is well known for its seafood — partly thanks to the fishermen at this village. I said partly because there are a lot of fishermen’s villages in and out of Makassar.

By the way, have I mention that Makassar is #Q’s hometown?

Anyway, below is more photos of seaside part of Barombong.

They set sail at night. During the day, they do other errands around the village.

This is the scenery…

Seriously, when you visit Makassar, make sure you try the seafood — grilled fish and sauced crab are recommended.

    • Terus terang, saya gak yakin di ‘teluk’ itu ada ikannya deh :D. Banyaknya sampah.

Kayaknya harus ke laut lepas dulu baru bisa mancing :-)

  3. Nice. Although you said you’re not really into landscape photography, I think you’re quite good at it. You should’ve stayed here longer, dear..
