Capturing the mundane to create interesting stories

Feet & Wheels

S-Feet-&-Wheels-002DSC 5145-martosc

Not everyone has the privilege to walk — some have to use the wheels; some don’t even have wheels.

Side Story:

I mostly shoot to freeze a moment. Which means I normally shoot in relatively high shutter speed — faster than 1/160 when possible.

Thanks to Christakis’ Street Photo Assignment, I try to make low-speed shots — and here is one of the result which I’m quite happy with.

Here’s a link of other people’s submission that are featured in Christakis’ blog: Street Photo Assignment #3 — The Entries

  3. Well executed! Did you use a tripod for this?

    • Nope, I didn’t use a tripod, but I was sitting on a step and put my hands on my knees to avoid camera shake. The shutter speed was 1/20″ — with 24mm focal length, camera shake is still avoidable.
