Sado Island: Boat Ride Home

Good weather — looking forward for a smooth ride home

Finally, it’s time for us to go home.

The ferry trip home was definitely better — weather-wise — than when we came to Sado.

It was more crowded, too.

Nevertheless, everyone seems to enjoy the trip — especially the ones on the top deck.

Some travel in group…

Feeding the birds — but there weren’t many of seagulls

Some travel as couple…

Looks like rain was pouring down in the distance…

Some travel alone…

Reading the map — so, where to go next?

Some were reminiscing the memories…

“I’m glad we took this trip. It was great. I have a lot of good memories traveling to Sado with you”

Some others don’t care about anything…

… and decided to fall asleep in the cafeteria…

We arrived at Niigata Port early in the evening. We stayed another night in Niigata, at T’s host family’s place.

We had super-dinner: seafood shabu-shabu and meat yakiniku. It was delicious! :-)… Most of the photos were family-thingie, so I’m not going to bored you and share it here :D

This post wraps up our trip to Sado Island.

The trip may not be perfect due to typhoon, but it was still a blast.

I hope you enjoyed Sado Island series as much as I do. Thanks for reading :-).

Note: I still have some leftovers — street shots or the random ones. I’ll post them when the time comes :D.

  2. Really like the symmetry of the composition in the first shot. The man also helps to add scale and interest.
