Skinny Silhouette

S-Skinny-Silhouette-002DSC 1200-martosc

What do you think of her: thin or skinny?

How do you define thin, normal or overweight?

The international world standardized it using Body Mass Index (BMI), where the normal is defined to be 18.5-25 kg/m^2.

I’m a little overweight with BMI of 26.5 kg/m^2.

I’m not going to ask about yours; it’s a little sensitive, no? :D

Anyway, you should learn something interesting. According to Japan standard, I’m not overweight — I’m obese!

How can I not be considered obese?!? You should see how thin the normal is here.

Oh, well… Don’t worry, be happy — and healthy.

    • Ho-oh, lensa baru, hehehe. Sempat sedikit-banyak dibahas di paparan 3 hari lalu tuh :D…

      September 11, 2011 at 05:53

      • saya juga awalnya sempet ngincer 24mm f/2.8 ai-s, hehe tapi akhirnya saya beli 135mm f/2.8 walaupun third party tapi performanya lumayan nih :D

        • Yah, semua bergantung kebutuhan lah, mas bro. Saya lebih senang pake lensa ‘normal’, cenderung ‘lebar’. Lensa panjang saya (85mm) jarang banget dipake akhir-akhir ini. Moga-moga gak ingin beli lensa lagi deh.

Jadi sampeyan punya berapa lensa sekarang? Kepake semua kah?

          September 11, 2011 at 10:03

          • Total semua 7 lensa mister *gubrak hahaha :)

            September 11, 2011 at 10:25

            • Hooo… begitu ya? Hahaha… banyak amat… moga-moga kepake semua deh, jangan sampai jamuran doang hehehe. Maklum, bukan kolektor, tapi photo-enthusiast sih :D…

Good luck dengan Leica dan Carl Zeiss-nya :D…

              • 2 udah jamuran banyak mister, 35mm f/2.5 sama 50mm f/2, tapi itu dari pas beli, harga belinya juga murah banget jadi ya maklum kondisinya begitu, tp hasil masih mantap kok :D
Prinsip saya lebih baik menyesal pernah nyobain daripada nyesel ga pernah nyoba sama sekali hahaha :D

Hahaha iya mister buat kedua itu mesti nabung bener bener, soalnya harganya kan lumayan tuh. -__-“

                September 11, 2011 at 11:45

                • Lumayan?

                  September 11, 2011 at 12:07

        • Well, that’s not fun :D…

  3. Eat less udon?

I’m normal according to the International, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore standards. WOHOO!

And the girl in the photo is SUPER skinny. I bet her BMI is less than 15.

    September 11, 2011 at 09:13

    • I seldom eat udon. I prefer soba :D… but that’s not the point. I’m not fat, I’m chubby… *denial

Yeah, I think she is skinny, too. I wonder the BMI has anything to do with high-heels: in order to comfortably use high-heels, one must have BMI of 15 or less :D…

      September 11, 2011 at 09:41

      • That is incorrect. I can tell you that here in the US BMI and high heel has no correlation – one of my friend wore a 3 inch skinny heels during her whole pregnancy.

        September 12, 2011 at 13:00

        • Ouch… that doesn’t sound… pleasant.
Did it hurt? Did you ask her why? :D

  5. Nice shot dude…But you’re right to notice how skinny she is. Her arms are frightening! :-o

    September 12, 2011 at 18:31

    • Thanks, mate.
Frightening as if it is fragile? :D…

      September 12, 2011 at 18:47

      • Indeed! It looks like it could snap! ;-)

        September 12, 2011 at 22:34

  6. skinny in my opinion… she looks way too much thin to be healthy.. but that’s just me.. :)

    September 15, 2011 at 21:59

    • Well, according to Japan standard, she’s still normal :D…
