Capturing the mundane to create interesting stories

Tokodai Open 2011 (Introduction)

“Minna-san, ganbarou!”[1]

Last Saturday (18 June 2011), a friend asked me to help him documenting Tokodai Open, a Badminton event held by PPI Tokodai (Indonesian Student Association — Tokodai or Tokyo Institute of Technology).

I took about 250 usable photos; certainly not all of them are worthy to get posted here. I haven’t make the time to thoroughly look, sort out and post-process them — but I’m quite confident to find some interesting shots.

And then, inspired by the same friend, I’m thinking of making a photo-essay from this event. Not sure when I can finish it, though :D… I hope it can be better than my first photo-essay (which was about 9 months ago).

For now, let me just show you the opening (first photo) and the closing (next photo) — everything in between will be covered in the photo-essay.

    • Thanks…
Well, you know how camera often brings the best side of people. In this case, I point the camera at them, and now it seems they were having fun sweeping the floor :D…
