The main gate of Kanda Shrine
Side story :
The problem with shooting at night are:
It is dark (need a combination of high ISO, slow shutter speed and large aperture)
The lighting is hard for metering; thus I’m having trouble to shoot in aperture-priority mode
Fast lens and good camera with High ISO capability
Shoot in manual; at least the results will be relatively consistent.
Solution #1 is budget-sensitive; and my current camera and lens, although not perfect, is definitely not bad in this department.
Solution #2 is too much hassle for me :D… beside, good tripod is kind of expensive too…
Solution #3 will slow you down a bit when taking photos; thus allowing you to think and not just snapping pictures. It’s a good bargain.
Do you have other thoughts?
